About
the Kingfest Music Festival
|
Great music,
delicious food, unique shopping and relaxing fun –
all in a beautiful green setting – is what Kingfest
Music Festival is all about. Kingfest premiered as
an outdoor festival June 2007 in King Township (just
north of Toronto) drawing over 4,000 visitors and a
stellar response from visitors, performers, artists,
sponsors, volunteers and the community. Born out of
two smaller indoor events 2005 and 2006, Kingfest
expanded into a multi-faceted festival experience,
with multiple outdoor stages, an artisan village,
children’s activity area and a diverse food and
beverage offering. Kingfest celebrates great
Canadian artists - local, emerging and established -
from a range of music genres, offering unparalleled
musical entertainment for music lovers of all ages.
What’s more is that Kingfest is about community –
the festival is managed exclusively by volunteers
who believe that events like Kingfest contribute
meaningfully to one’s quality of life. Also,
Kingfest is in support of important community
causes, such as Habitat for Humanity, which provides
affordable, low cost housing for those in need.
Kingfest Music Inc. is a non-profit organization
whose heart and spirit lies in the hands of its many
dedicated volunteers.
