Country rock phenomena
The Sadies have released three
critically acclaimed albums and backed the
likes of Neko Case and R&B legend Andre
Williams. Led by brothers Dallas and Travis
Good (offspring of the legendary Good
Brothers), the Sadies have honed a
distinctive sound, taking influence from
traditional country, surf music and garage
rock. The Sadies just released their new
studio album, New Seasons, their
latest evolution of sound. Performing
recently at Lee’s Palace and the Horseshoe
Tavern in Toronto, the Sadie’s relentless
touring schedule and fiery live shows has
earned them a rapid following. James
McKenty & The Spades are a high energy
band who draw music from classic rock’n’roll
and infuse it with a youthful vibrancy.
Formed in 2002, the Spades deliver a solid,
vigorous live show, which excites audiences
and critics across the country. Dani
Strong is an accomplished singer
songwriter who has intense depth with
musical inspirations ranging from Alison
Krauss, modern Bluegrass Ricky Skaggs,
Martin Sexton to Supertramp. This country
songbird from Newmarket is making waves and
inspiring audiences with her distinctive
sound. Jack D has started to make
noise in the indie world. Every song is a
surprise, ranging from blues to pop, funk to
country and good old fashioned rock and
roll. Taking elements from all different
types of music, their sound is diverse and
electric. |
