Canadian Legend Murray McLauchlan & Guests

Canadian Singer/ songwriter legend Murray McLauchlan has eighteen albums of songs to his credit and has won eleven JUNO awards as well as RPM Big Country and Toronto Music awards. In 1993, McLauchlan received The Order Of Canada. A testament to Murray's songwriting excellence was the recent presentation of a SOCAN Classics Award for his composition Whispering Rain, recognizing the fact that the song received over 100,000 plays on radio, making it one of the most played songs in Canadian history.

 

Pat Robitaille

is a musically-gifted 20 year old singer/ songwriter of folk/ rock genres. Playing in venues and festivals across the continent, Pat spent his time booking shows, writing and recording music. With a constantly jammed performance schedule, Pat has made a significant name for himself. Over the past two years of touring, he has been asked to perform with The Beach Boys, Ziggy Marley, Matthew Good, Our Lady Peace, Sam Roberts Band, Bad Company, Eddie Money, Jody Raffoul, The Counting Crows, Blue Rodeo, Robinella, Collective Soul, and more

is the meeting of two musical worlds that have lots in common; Wanda Stride's Newfoudnland r
oots and Susan Luke's Virginia roots. Susan and Wanda have been playing together since 2002, mining their classical backgrounds to create a fresh, lively sound all their own. Ever-changing instrumentation and original folk songs with a Celtic edge form the basis of their passion for sharing stories and music.

Country rock phenomena The Sadies have released three critically acclaimed albums and backed the likes of Neko Case and R&B legend Andre Williams. Led by brothers Dallas and Travis Good (offspring of the legendary Good Brothers), the Sadies have honed a distinctive sound, taking influence from traditional country, surf music and garage rock. The Sadies just released their new studio album, New Seasons, their latest evolution of sound. Performing recently at Lee’s Palace and the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto, the Sadie’s relentless touring schedule and fiery live shows has earned them a rapid following. James McKenty & The Spades are a high energy band who draw music from classic rock’n’roll and infuse it with a youthful vibrancy. Formed in 2002, the Spades deliver a solid, vigorous live show, which excites audiences and critics across the country. Dani Strong is an accomplished singer songwriter who has intense depth with musical inspirations ranging from Alison Krauss, modern Bluegrass Ricky Skaggs, Martin Sexton to Supertramp. This country songbird from Newmarket is making waves and inspiring audiences with her distinctive sound. Jack D has started to make noise in the indie world. Every song is a surprise, ranging from blues to pop, funk to country and good old fashioned rock and roll. Taking elements from all different types of music, their sound is diverse and electric.
