Welcome!
As a non-profit organization, Kingfest is driven by volunteers. Kingfest offers volunteers the opportunity to actively engage and connect with the broader community while helping to create an enjoyable event for everyone. Volunteers are a special group of people who give generously of themselves.
By volunteering at Kingfest you can:
- learn or develop skills
- gain valuable work experience
- meet new people and make networking contacts
- have fun while enjoying the music
- contribute to a notable community cause - Kingfest and Habitat for Humanity, York Region
Volunteers will be given free access to the Kingfest grounds and provided with a branded T-shirt to wear during the festival.
All volunteers will part-take in an orientation session directed by the Volunteer Coordinator Chair. The length of your shift can vary according to festival needs, but on average may be six hours per day. Volunteers are requested to attend crew meetings in advance of the festival. Kingfest requires that volunteers be at least 16 years of age.
